To say that we at Kocourek Nissan are impressed by our esteemed Japanese automaker's midsize sedan, the recently refreshed 2016 Nissan Altima, would be an understatement of the highest order. More accurately, we're outright over the moon for this fresh-faced four-door!

And lest you think such is statement is predicated purely on personal bias, we invite you to check out the clip below. As you'll soon discover, Autotrader critic, Jabari Jones, is also quite keen on the latest Altima. Get his take right here:

On entry-level trims, the Altima is outfitted with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Rated at a respectable 182 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque, this four-banger is synced with a continuously variable transmission.

Frugality is another one of the base engine's many strong suits. Estimated to return 31 mpg combined (27 city/39 highway), this is one drivetrain that's sure to keep you -- and your wallet -- very happy, indeed.
