The Nissan Murano is a mid-size crossover SUV with enough comfort, convenience, and entertainment to support an entire family or crew. Performance

At its heart, the Nissan Murano is powered by a 260-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine with a continuously variable transmission and full-wheel drive capabilities that deliver nimble handling and dependable performance. For those who need better traction and handling on just about any road conditions, there's also the option for all-wheel drive capabilities. Depending on the situation, these models can automatically switch between two-wheel and four-wheel drive to either increase fuel efficiency or improve handling on corners. According to EPA estimates, the Murano has a fuel economy of 20 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway. It also can tow a maximum of 1,500 pounds around Merrill and Wausau.

Interior

The Murano features plenty of comfort and convenience in its cabin, including heated seats, a six-speaker audio system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a four-way power front passenger's seat, and a 10-way power driver's seat with two-way power lumbar support. All five seats are covered with comfortable synthetic leather, making long trips enjoyable. The SL trim adds leather-appointed seats, ambient interior lighting, and an 11-speaker Bose premium audio system with dual subwoofers. In contrast, the Platinum trim adds a heated power-adjustable steering wheel, heated and cooled front seats, and semi-aniline leather seating with diamond-quilted inserts. Every trim features front and rear legroom of 40.5 inches and 38.7 inches. The cargo capacity is 32 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 67 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down. A motion-activated liftgate opens up the rear door with the movement of your foot.

Technology

The 2024 Nissan Murano features a 7-inch digital driver gauge display and an 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system with voice recognition technology, Bluetooth connectivity, USB-A and USB-C ports, CD playback, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. In-dash navigation and the NissanConnect Services with remote smartphone capabilities are available on more advanced trims. SiriusXM satellite radio is also available with a subscription.

Safety
